Dennis L. Martodam is the founder and president of DM WORKS, a specialized consulting firm focusing on leadership learning and development, executive coaching and human resources management. Since establishing his consulting business in 1996, Dennis has become a sought after facilitator, consultant and coach for some of the world’s leading hotel and resort companies, as well as numerous other service industries. His client list includes Four Seasons, Rosewood, Ritz-Carlton, Morgan’s Hotel Group, Radisson Blu and many other independent luxury brands. His extensive leadership experience combined with his credible, authentic and engaging style has made him an expert on executive team development and management learning.  He has facilitated programs to hundreds of leadership groups and coached high potential leaders all around the globe. Dennis feels blessed that his clients often ask him back time and time again.


Dennis is Canadian born and started his professional career as a social worker in Western Canada. He later joined a five star international airline in a senior management capacity, specializing in exceptional customer service, recruitment and training. In 1989 Dennis joined one of the world’s leading luxury hotel groups, Four Seasons Hotels & Resorts in their Human Resources Division and worked in a number of their North American locations before starting his own company.  He holds a Bachelor of Social Work degree and is certified in a variety of diagnostics tools, including:  the Center for Creative Leadership 360s, Emotional Competence Inventory, Leadership Versatility Index, Myers Briggs Personality Inventory, Thomas-Kilmann Conflict Mode Instrument (TKI) and others. He is also a certified Executive Coach with the Center for Executive Coaching.  In his spare time Dennis enjoys staying fit with yoga, spinning and hiking. He is also a lover of music.
